Data may be collected in various ways - normally by email, contact form, or if you phone/text us.

We may obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about services offered, fill out Enrolment Forms, or if you register to receive our news updates.

Personal information collected might include your name, address, email address, IP address, phone number and information regarding what pages are accessed and when. Information provided on your Enrolment Forms is collected and stored to ensure our services and exercises are suitable for you. It is securely stored with robust password protection and encryption using GDPR compliant cloud systems.

What we do with your information?

We require this personal information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, enabling us to:

  • Understand your individual requirements (e.g. post injury / postnatally) so we can accommodate and customise movements accordingly. Our aim is to provide a tailored and personal service.

  • Internal record keeping.

  • Keep you up to date with class times/class changes and services.

  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new services/classes, special offers or other information we think you may find interesting using the contact information you have provided.

  • We may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or text. We may use the information to customise our services according to your interests.

You can change your marketing preferences at any time by contacting us by email. 

Will my data be shared with any third parties?

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure and will never sell or rent your information to third parties or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

There may be circumstances during any business relationship where there is a need to share information. This will only be done with your explicit permission and only for as long as is necessary.

3rd party tools are used as part of our day-to-day business which may mean that your information will pass through their systems. Below is a list of these tools along with a link to their GDPR compliance statement (where applicable);

  • Gmail is our email provider

  • Wix hosts our website. The website is secured by an SSL certificate and sensitive information is processed to PCI standards

  • Enrolment forms and Covid Questionnaire forms are stored on  password protected Google Forms

  

How we use cookies

To tailor our website to customer needs we use traffic log cookies which identify which pages are being used. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes.

A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website. 

We use Google analytics to review statistical information about our website visitors.

Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.

Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate / engage upon them with due care and caution in regard to their own privacy and personal details. This website nor its owners will never ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms. This website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to the social media platform in question. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.

Whilst you are an active client (attending classes etc), we will continue to use and refer to your personal data. To ensure we comply with professional, legal and insurance requirements, we retain the right to hold on to your personal data for a minimum of 7 years from your last contact with us or when you stop attending classes.

Your rights 

As we process your personal data, you have certain rights. These are a right of access, a right of rectification, a right of erasure and a right to restrict processing. 

  • You may request a copy of your data at any time. Please make such a request in writing or by email to the data controller, whose details are shown below. Please provide the following information: your name, address, telephone number, email address and details of the information you require.

  • If you believe any of the personal data we hold on you is inaccurate or incomplete, please contact us directly and any necessary corrections to your data will be made.

  • If you believe we should erase your data, please contact the data controller.

  • Where you have provided explicit consent for us to use your data you have a right to withdraw this consent at any time.

In the unlikely event that your personal data is compromised - lost, stolen or otherwise breached, where this constitutes a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will promptly contact you. The data controller will explain the details of the breach and steps being taken to resolve.

By taking part in an online Pilates class, you fully understand that the teacher may not be able to offer any personal correction; agree to take responsibility for your own body; agree not to perform any exercises or movements that may cause discomfort; and confirm you are fit and able to join the class. You must ensure that you are working in a safe environment where you are able to clearly see and/or hear the teacher in order to follow instructions. It is your responsibility to let the teacher know before the class if anything affects your ability to exercise that day. By joining the class you automatically agree to waive all statutory rights against the teacher.
